Inaugurated in 1876, it is a green oasis in the heart of the city of Buenos Aires, only 10 minutes away from the Obelisk. Its Official Grandstand and the Restaurant La Paris, declared Architectural Heritage of the City, preserve the original facade designed by the prestigious French architect Louis Faure Dujarric.
